A few years back I had no where to live. I went to the Housing department for help and told them I was homeless. They immediately got me a room in a shared accommodation. Meriden Housing and their team were very helpful and supportive. I had regular support meetings with them and they helped me get back on my feet and becoming independent. They supported me with managing my money which I was unable to do and also help me in all the needs I had. They never failed to support me in any way. Meriden Housing and the team supported me in getting me a flat of my own and they also helped me with my bidding and all paperwork. I was in the shared accommodation not even for a full year before I got my own place which would not have been so quick if not for the support I received from Meriden Housing and there team. Without the support I received from Meriden Housing, I may still have been homeless.
