CSR

At Meriden Housing, we are not only a housing provider, but we are also dedicated to giving back to our community.

We actively engage with our residents within the local community and the community hubs. This is very important to us as we have a responsibility as humans to care for one another.

In the future, we plan to hold regular soup kitchens and local sporting events. We desire to create a community hub where community members can come in and talk to us about any issues they are suffering with.

Whether that be with advice and guidance, accessing support, health advice or local sporting clubs.

Giving back to our amazing community

Climb For Palestine 2021

We sponsored the climb for Palestine with a group of civil servants within the Ministry of Justice. They had a vision of raising money for Palestinians living in poverty.

We not only sponsored the event but climbed mount Snowdon with the group.

The response we had was amazing. Collectively we raised £10,000 where all proceeds were donated.

It was truly a humbling experience.

Night of boxing with Pound 4 Pound Boxing Academy

We have partnered with the leading boxing academy in the UK to sponsor their first home show on March 26th, 2022.

These young and talented boxers will be showcasing their skills in front of a sold-out event, where food and drink will be served.

There will be live artists from the West Midlands who will be performing on the night.
Pound 4 Pound Boxing academy holds the same ethos as Meriden Housing which is to help our community and to give back.

There narrative for this event and as a whole is to

Put down the knives and put on the gloves!

What a powerful and inspiring message to the youth and our next generation.
